Vintage Burmese Ruby & Antique-Cut Diamond Ring in 18k Gold

An impressive vintage ruby and diamond ring, crafted in 18k yellow gold, featuring two richly coloured natural Burmese rubies surrounded by an elaborate arrangement of antique-cut natural diamonds.

The two oval mixed-cut rubies have a combined estimated weight of approximately 1.70 carats and are certified as being of Burma (Myanmar) origin. Gemological examination indicates that one ruby shows no evidence of heat treatment, while the other shows indications of heat treatment.

The rubies are complemented by 26 natural antique-cut diamonds, with a combined estimated weight of approximately 1.35 carats. The diamonds are graded approximately F–G colour and VS–SI clarity, creating a lively contrast against the warm yellow gold setting.
